Ingredients

Scale
  • 13.8 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 black olives
  • 1 piece of red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice black olives into small pieces for eyes and cut the red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface and cut it into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into 12-inch ropes; taper one end for the tail and flatten the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around a greased chopstick or metal straw in a spiral shape, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  6. Place olive pieces on the heads to create eyes.
  7. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for about 11-15 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly before removing chopsticks.
  8. Insert red pepper pieces into the flat ends as tongues while still warm.
