  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

  • 6 slices of baguette or crusty bread, toasted

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients; trim short ribs and slice onions thinly.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil; add onions and cook until golden brown (about 30 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  3. Season short ribs with salt and pepper; sear in another pan until browned on all sides (4–5 minutes per side).
