  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried mustard
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine thawed hash browns, melted butter, cheddar cheese, sour cream, diced onion, garlic, flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, chicken broth, and milk. Mix well.
