  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. For the brownie layer, whisk together sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a bowl. Mix in eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
