  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti or penne)
  • ½ cup basil pesto (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat each chicken breast in the mixture until fully covered.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the coated chicken. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile, boil salted water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and return to the pot.
