  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 Egg (beaten for brushing)
  • Powdered Sugar (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface if not pre-rolled and cut into rectangles (4×6 inches).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine canned pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and ground cloves until well blended.
  4. Place about one tablespoon of the filling in the center of each rectangle. Fold over one side and twist both ends toward each other to form a spiral shape.
  5. Brush each twist with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
