  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 thick slices of French or Italian bread
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread and arrange on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake the garlic bread for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Season shrimp with salt and pepper; cook in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
  5. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and vinegar (or broth); simmer for 1-2 minutes before stirring in lemon juice and red pepper flakes.
  6. Return shrimp to skillet; toss to coat in the sauce. Serve warm with garlic bread.
