  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup artichokes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt (to taste)
  • fresh cracked pepper (to taste)
  • red pepper flakes (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Thaw puff pastry completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, artichokes, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well mixed.
  3. Cut thawed puff pastry in half and spread the filling evenly on one half.
  4. Top with the other half of the pastry and cut into long strips.
  5. Twist each strip gently into swirls and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush with an egg wash made from a beaten egg mixed with 1 teaspoon water.
